In the past several months COOP has been active in supporting orthodontists in practice.
- Due to the turn of events with the virtual AAO annual session, COOP’s Practice Transition Seminar successfully pivoted content to the Practice Transition Portal. This portal has useful webinars as well as an action template to help members structure their thoughts and goals related to start-ups, buy-ins, buy-outs, partnerships, or practice sales.
- The AAO Marketing team has chosen to bundle the COOP-sponsored Orthodontic Staff Club (at no cost, usually a $50- additional cost) with the renewal of AAO membership this summer. The OSC Facebook club is almost up to 400 members – that is almost double since last year.
- COOP members have participated in The AAO COVID Task Force which continues to acquire info from OSHA, CDC, etc. to determine new guidelines for practice during the pandemic.
