Spring is Here! An Update from AAO

I’m so happy to be back on daylight savings time, working on the yard and garden, warmer weather, and of course – getting ready for the AAO Annual Session in Orlando!  I do hope you are planning to attend The World’s Greatest Celebration of Orthodontics this May 1st -3rd!

Delivering high quality continuing education is important to the AAO.  Members acknowledge that good CE is one of the best values provided by the AAO.  We are guided by our strategic plan and our mission is “To advance the art and science of orthodontics through EDUCATION, advocacy and research”. Our learning and professional development team is the best!  Annual Session is one meeting you don’t want to miss and I can’t wait to see you there.

If you’re wondering what’s going to be so special about this year’s meeting, here are some highlights:

  • All the great C.E. with dynamic speakers that you’ve come to expect from Team AAO including pre-conference programming on Thursday April 30th and at least 7 tracts of speakers for you and your staff on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
  • AAO Fest at Universal Studios on Saturday May 2nd! Get ready for one of the biggest parties the AAO has ever hosted! Enjoy exclusive, all-night access to thrilling rides and attractions, an entire universe of action and excitement, all yours to explore at select areas within Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks just for you!   • The AAO Show is back bringing 90s nostalgia to the stage with special guests Joey Fatoneand Lance Bass of NSYNC!  Be there on Friday May 1st from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the Convention Center for all the energy, laughs, and real inspiration.
  • The Inclusion and Engagement Session on Saturday May 2nd (3:00 – 4:30PM) with Jackie Joyner-Kersee who will draw from her own experiences to provide profound insights into building resilience and overcoming adversity. Purchase you ticket during registration ($25) – free for AAO Student Members
